Lucy is both an accomplished writer and public speaker, having published her doctoral thesis in 2022. She has presented talks on disability rights and equity issues on both a national and international scale. She is also an active member of the Disabled Leaders Network - led by the Snow don Trust and the Global Disability Innovation Hub - and has presented alongside renowned disability advocates on topics including grassroots advocacy.
