Author's bio: W.C. moved to South Florida with his family in 1971, at the age of fifteen. Growing up and coming of age during this time was an experience he would never have had in his home state of N.J. Working in restaurants and nightclubs and owning his own boat was the ultimate, fishing all day, booze cursing with the waitresses enjoying the go-fast boats and luxury yachts as they pass by, only enhanced living the lifestyle. Occasional interaction with the Coast Guard and other law enforcement agencies on the water provided him with some of the material for the stories and descriptions in his new book. Morgan MacShane a recently retired Army officer is about to get caught up in a whirlwind of trouble he never saw coming. Lured to South Florida by his old Army buddy, T.C.Allen as a partner in a salvage ship operation, MacShane soon discovered he was drawn in under false pretenses and his investment was a sham. T.C had a plan but knew MacShane would never agree to it willingly. So he pulls a fast one by talking of lost treasure, unimaginable wealth and promises of sunshine and beautiful weather gradually shifted MacShane's skepticism and changed his mind. Dubbed the "Sequoia "by its previous cartel smugglers-a tongue in cheek nod to the presidential yacht. The battered coastal freighter MacShane sunk his retirement savings into was about to take on a whole new mission. As it turns out neither MacShane nor his ragtag crew could anticipate the perils and deadly encounters awaiting them. Set sail with the dysfunctional crew of the Sequoia as they navigate the treacherous waters of the Caribbean on a secretive quest for treasure and duty to their country.
